Designed for professional cinema production, this compact full-frame fisheye zoom delivers an expansive 180° field of view with both circular and rectangular fisheye looks.
At 8mm, the lens produces a distinctive circular fisheye image, while at 15mm, it delivers a wide rectangular fisheye perspective. Its constant T2.9 aperture maintains consistent exposure throughout the zoom range, making it ideal for creative cinematography, commercials, music videos, action sequences, immersive shots, and visual effects.
With a minimum focusing distance of just 6.3 inches, the Laowa 8-15mm allows cinematographers to get extremely close to subjects while maintaining an exaggerated wide-angle perspective. Standard 0.8 MOD focus, iris, and zoom gears make integration with professional follow-focus systems and cinema rigs easy.
PL & Sony E-Mount Compatibility
The lens features an interchangeable bayonet mount system. Canada Film Equipment also carries the Laowa VEIB2850SE Sony E-Mount Bayonet, allowing the lens to be converted from ARRI PL Mount to Sony E Mount when required.
Sony E-Mount conversion is available upon request.
